University of Colorado Boulder students, faculty, and staff and the Boulder community will be celebrating Earth Week from April 18-24 on campus with a variety of different events.

The University of Colorado Boulder鈥檚 68th annual Conference on World Affairs, a week of ideas and discussion on every topic imaginable, kicks off Monday. Among the day鈥檚 events are a noon plenary address by Robert Inglis on how free enterprise can solve climate change and the colorful flag procession at 6:30 p.m. on the Norlin Quadrangle. This year鈥檚 conference features 200 diverse panels, plenaries and performances. Vice President Joe Biden will visit CU-Boulder next week to deliver a speech on the importance of preventing sexual assault on college campuses across the country. The Office of the Vice President chose to visit CU-Boulder due to our strong efforts to support the 鈥淚t鈥檚 On Us鈥� campaign denouncing sexual violence and encouraging bystanders to be more effective in prevention efforts.
