Yoga Hike with Fitwell

Enjoy yoga with a view! This offering includes a mellow 3 .5 mile hike and an hour of guided yoga with a view of the Flatirons. Course fee includes yoga equipment and transportation.

Participants must be able to carry a 15 lb pack while hiking on rocky and variable terrain.

Starry Night Hike

Spend an evening under the stars! Outdoor Pursuits is excited to offer a stary night ikle in collaboration with the astronomy club. Join us for a mellow 3.5 mile night hike and guided exploration of the night sky. Transportation provided.

Participants must be able to carry a 15 lb pack while hiking on rocky and variable terrain.

Multi-day/Overnight Trips

ISSS听Backpacking Trip

International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS), in collaboration with Outdoor Pursuits, invites international students to join them on a backpacking trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. Join us on a two-day, one-night backpacking excursion in the Colorado backcountry! Meet other international students and hone your outdoor skills. Learn how to properly pack, set up camp, navigate using a map and compass, cook, plan a menu and more! No experience necessary. Course fee covers backpacking equipment, food and transportation.

Requirements: Participants must be able to carry a 30-50 pound pack while hiking up to five miles per day on rocky and variable terrain.

Alpine Lake Fly Fishing & Backpacking Trip

Join us for an overnight fly fishing adventure to a scenic alpine lake. Hike to a beautiful lake, where you will learn the basics of fly fishing and enjoy a beautiful night under the stars. In the morning, get a few last casts in before heading back from your mountain adventure. No previous backpacking or fly fishing experience required. Fee includes all backpacking and fly fishing equipment, food and transportation.

Requirements: Participants must be able to carry a 40 pound pack on uneven terrain up to 5 miles, be able to sleep in a tent and must purchase their own fishing license (approximately $10).

Leaf Peeper's Backpacking Trip

Immerse yourself in the shimmering gold of Colorado aspen trees as they transform in fall. This excursion will take you to Rocky Mountain National Park for two days and one night of backpacking among the beautifule fall foliage the park is known for. Course fee covers backpacking equipment, food and transportation as well as entry into Rocky mountain National Park. No experience required.

Requirements: Participants must be able to carry a 50 lb pack while hiking up to five miles per day on rocky and variable terrain.
