UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program)
This program provides funding for undergraduate research projects during the summer or academic year and is designed to promote undergraduate research while fostering connections and growth among students, staff, and faculty. It also aims to promote mentorship, support student-led campus publications, encourage campus-wide collaboration, and partner with national and global organizations to advance best practices.
STUDIO Undergrad Research Lab
The Department of Political Science has created STUDIO lab to train undergraduates early on in their academic careers and prepare them for their research. Â鶹ÒùÔº will learn how to manage research materials, such as data collection, coding, and organization of primary and secondary resources. In addition to these training goals, the STUDIO will host professional workshops and social events to develop a sense of community between the faculty, doctoral students, and undergraduates. Professional workshop topics include tips for using statistical software efficiently, time management, and funding opportunities.
