What is German Studies?
In German Studies, we focus on all areas of German speaking cultures and their crucial roles in the formation of the modern world. Our faculty have interdisciplinary interests, teaching and researching in fields that include language and literature, but also cross over into:
Art History|Comparative Literature|Critical Race/Ethnic Studies|Film Studies|History|Jewish Studies|Philosophy|Political Science|Gender Studies
