About iFest
Share your Culture and Cuisine with the CU Community
The goal of the annual International Festival is to provide an opportunity for cultural student groups on the CU campus to share their culture with the CU Community. Represent your roots with your country's or region's own personalized booth using local artwork, clothing or literature. You also get the chance to inform visitors about your culture and traditions, and have them try out all the cultural activities!
You can also opt to include your region/country's unique cuisine as a part of your booth. With the belief that food is a critical part of a culture, the CU International Festival Committee accepts food sample requests to offer an exceptional experience of the full spectrum of one's culture to our visitors during the iFest. Every country/region representing a booth is eligible to submit recipes that represent its culture. This can be a dish (main or side), drink or dessert! Do not miss out on a chance to share your unique culture with the CU Community.
Showcase your Culture to the CU Community
Every year, the CU International Festival Committee provides a stage for great performers who show cultural dances, play traditional instruments, or sing in their native language. Both CU and non-CU affiliated groups are welcome to perform, as long as their performance is culturally appropriate. This will be based on the submitted performance description which will be reviewed by committee members.
