Sentao Miao is an Assistant Professor of Operations Management in Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado Boulder. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor in Bensadoun School of Retail Management & Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University. His research interests are mainly in developing efficient learning and optimization algorithms with various applications in Operations Management. For methodologies, Sentao Miao focuses on statistical and machine learning algorithms such as online learning, multi-arm bandit problem, reinforcement learning; he is also interested in approximation algorithms with provable performance. For applications, he mainly works on operations management problems such as dynamic pricing, assortment selection, inventory control, etc. Sentao Miao obtained his PhD degree in Department of Industrial and Operations Engineering at University of Michigan. G. 'Ravi’ Ravishankar is a faculty member at the Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Operations Division at the Leeds School of Business.ÌýHe is a veteran of supply chain, lean transformation, implementing product innovation strategies and technology transfer from national laboratories.
His career has spanned a wide range of operating roles from president, CFO to engineering manager and director of innovation. He has worked in four continents on lean manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, product development, factory start-up, and business strategy. His industry experience includes, semiconductors, machinery, medical devices, food and beverage, chemicals, consulting and not-for-profit organizations. Link toÌýbio.

Huanan Zhang is an Assistant Professor in the SEO division. Before joining Leeds, he was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering at Penn State University. He received his Ph.D. in Industrial and Operation Engineering at the University of Michigan in 2017. Huanan’s research interests include the design of data-driven algorithms, approximation algorithms, and their applications in inventory and supply chain management, revenue management, and service operations. His research has been published in leading Operations Management journals like Management Science, Operations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, and Production & Operations Management. Associate Professor and Faculty Director of MS in Business Analytics

Rui Zhang is an associate professor in the Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Operations division at Leeds School of Business, University of Colorado Boulder. He is the Faculty Director of the Master’s Program in Business Analytics. Before that, he served as the Director of the Ph.D. Program in Operations. Furthermore, he serves as Associate Editor forÌýINFORMS Journal on ComputingÌýandÌýNetworks. His research interests are quantitative methods, especially prescriptive analytics techniques. His work focuses on revenue management problems, last-mile delivery, and influence maximization problems on social networks. His work has been published inÌýOperations Research, Manufacturing & Service Operations Management, INFORMS Journal on Computing, INFORMS Journal on Optimization, Naval Research Logistics, European Journal of Operational Research, andÌýNetworks, among others. In addition, he has won several Best Paper awards. A collection of his work was selected as the runner-up for the 2022 INFORMS Computing Society (ICS) Prize.Link toÌýbio.
