- In this rollicking lampoon of relationships, romance and the influence of town gossip, William Shakespeare delivers a near-perfect enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy. See the play June 11–Aug. 13 in the outdoor theater.
- CU at Boettcher is back for the first time since 2020, with the symphony orchestra and all choirs set to perform Carl Orff’s formidable Carmina Burana. The concert also will feature the world premiere of Carter Pann’s symphony, On The Importance of Our Democracy, and a collaboration with the youth music-training program El Sistema.
- From the micro-undulations of transnational fusion to the sweeping attack of contemporary dance, The Current brings vanguard artists of today’s dance scene to Boulder. Tickets go fast!
- Cordae, with the direct support of N3ptune and Rusty Steve, will headline the 2023 Spring Show sponsored by the Cultural Events Board and Program Council. The show will take place April 21 in the Glenn Miller Ballroom.
- The 86th season of CU Presents’ Artist Series features an exciting lineup that includes familiar favorites, world-class artists and one-of-a-kind collaborations.
- Theatergoers will have the chance to see a professional production by the Musical Theatre Program. A fresh take on the iconic musical Chicago, viewers can expect “a little bit of movie and a little bit of Broadway.”
- The Right Here, Right Now Mini Global Climate Concert on April 13 in Boulder, Colorado, will feature Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers and special guests, including Yola. Proceeds will benefit United Nations Human Rights and musicians impacted by climate change.
- For first-year doctoral student Laura Klein, a visit to Jane Austen’s House in Chawton, Hampshire, inspired The Jane Austen Playlist: Love and Music of Regency England. On Feb. 25, Klein will capture the essence of Austen’s six major novels in a dramatized performance.
- Good opera doesn’t always have to be about spurned lovers and bitter betrayal. Take in a tale of magic, wonder and hope with CU Presents and the Eklund Opera Program. Single-ticket discounts are available for youth, CU students and employees, and others.
- “Company” stands apart in the collected works of Stephen Sondheim as one of his most complex contributions to the musical theater canon. It won the 1971 Tony award for best musical, as well as best score, best lyrics and best book.
