The University of Colorado Boulder will hold a trio of large student- and faculty-hosted events on Jan. 25. Here is what the campus community needs to know before attending them.

Join the Alumni Association for CU Night at the Nuggets in Denver on Friday, Feb. 3. Tickets start at just $26 and include admission to the Nuggets vs. Bucks game at the Pepsi Center, plus free appetizers at the special Forever Buffs pre-reception.

In advance of the Jan. 25 Architecture Through the Decades event, CU Boulder Today caught up with Campus Architect Bill Haverly to chat about renowned architect Charles Klauder's style and what it means to the campus and CU’s reputation.

Four graduating CU Boulder students have choreographed brand-new works for the spring showcase, "Catapult," examining everything from anxiety in modern times to the negative impact of processed food to the male gaze in Renaissance art.

CU Student Government and Center for Student Involvement are hosting an Inauguration Watch Event on Friday, Jan. 20, 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Stop by UMC room 235 in between your classes. Bagels, fruit and coffee will be provided.

CU Presents' 80th-anniversary Artist Series continues with a concert of sizzling, seductive music and dance from Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, experts in traditional Spanish dance. The performance takes place Jan. 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Macky Auditorium.

January's monthly brown bag event will feature a presentation by Pamela Rosse from the Research & Innovation Office, focusing on the subject of conflicts of interest. The presentation will be held Monday, Jan. 23, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Rec Center.

The Cultural Unity and Engagement Center is excited to announce the second annual Ignite: Yourself, Our Community, Our Future – A Social Justice Retreat for students from Feb. 3 to Feb. 5. The purpose of the retreat is to facilitate students' understanding of diversity and social justice within the context of leadership.

The Bioneers network event Front Range Eco-Social Solutions will return to CU Boulder Feb. 3 and 4. The event, produced by the CU Environmental Center, brings together progressive thinkers of the region to address both global and local issues.

The Recreation Center will be offering students free fitness classes Jan. 16 to Jan. 22 and free martial arts and dance classes Jan. 23 to Jan. 28. Several Intramural Sports and Sport Club meetings will be taking place at The Rec during this time, as well.
