Suicide Prevention Week

There are a variety of events this week to learn about suicide prevention and how to help a fellow Buff:

  • Sept. 8: Learn how to help a friend you're worried about with the help of our student Health Buffs at the Health Hut.
  • Sept. 9: Send messages of hope and start your journaling practice with wellness prompts.
  • Sept. 10: Attend the Ask the Question presentationto demystify ways to support other people while learning means of preventing suicide. Attending this session will help prepare you to act when you are needed most.
  • Download the powerful documentary The Ripple Effect to watch at your convenience, and register for the open discussion session on Sept. 11.
