Women's basketball hosts pair of home games
Colorado women's basketball faces off against two Pac-12 opponents from the Bay Area this weekend at the CU Events Center:
The Colorado women’s basketball team will host California at 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14. The theme will be I Love the Buffs Night. Fans will be able to create Valentine’s cards for the team as well as Chip. Â鶹ÒùÔº will have the opportunity to win a dinner for two at Pasta Jay’s. Fans can purchase two general admission tickets and 2 drinks for only $20 using the or purchase two reserved tickets for only $14. In addition, this will be the team’s Play4Kay event, an annual event to support breast cancer awareness and the . Fans who attend will receive pink pom poms. Kids ages 12 and under are admitted for free.
On Sunday, Feb. 16, the women’s basketball team plays nationally ranked Stanford at noon. The theme will be National Girls and Women in Sports Day. Fans should arrive early, as beginning at 10 a.m., there will be fitness and skills stations at the CU Events Center featuring CU student-athletes. Â鶹ÒùÔº who arrive early will receive a free Run Like a Girl shirt featuring Ralphie, and all fans are encouraged to wear black! In addition, there will be a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the 1995 Colorado women’s basketball team. By using the fans can purchase two reserved tickets for only $19.95.
