What: Parallel Programming in Matlab, Python and R
When: Monday, May 15, to Thursday, May 18, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day
Where: East Campus, Administrative Research Center (May 15) and Computer Center Building (May 16 to 18)

is hosting a multi-day workshop starting May 15 that is designed to teach participants how to parallel program in scripted languages, specifically Matlab, Python and R.
The training is intended for people who already know how to perform serial tasksÌýin one of the above languages but want to understand how to code in parallel. Additionally, participants are expected to:
- Know how to SSH,
- Have a basic understanding of Linux and
- Know how to use a text editor in remote environment.
Though attendance on day one is mandatory, participants have the option to attend all following sessions or only the one relevant to the their preferred language.
