2.It’s for a good cause.At last year’s race, the hundreds of student participants donated 1,540 articles of clothing to A Precious Child, a local nonprofit that supports disadvantaged and displaced children.
3.Free food.Who can turn down a postrace meal?
4.It makes for a unique Friday night out.Dancing to DJ-spun tunes in briskweather while wearing your skivvies is definitely a break from the routine.
5.It’s a blast.After winning the race last year, Joseph Crawford said: “This was the best decision I’ve made this year!”
This year’s race is Friday, Oct. 21 beginning at 8 p.m. at the Koenig Alumni Center. The race is neon-themed, so come in your brightest running costumes. Remember to bring any extra clothes you wish to donate to a child in need!
