CU students displaced by Boulder's Hill House Apartments fire Saturday night may still obtain assistance on Monday from the University of Colorado or the American Red Cross at a Red Cross Service Center on the CU-Boulder campus.
Volunteers from the Mile High Chapter of the American Red Cross on Sunday joined CU Student Affairs administrators in assisting 23 displaced students at a Red Cross service center in the CU Recreation Center on the Boulder campus.
Â鶹ÒùÔº who were unable to visit the center on Sunday may visit the center on Monday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. It is located in meeting rooms 3 & 4 of the CU Recreation Center located at the north end of campus at 1855 Pleasant Street. Â鶹ÒùÔº may also contact CU officials to obtain needed services:
• CU-Boulder students affected by the fire are being directed to call 303-492-8477 for more information on assistance with replacing textbooks or other academic supplies.
• Staff from the CU Office of Victim Assistance will provide counseling to students affected and assist students who need help contacting their instructors. The Victim Assistance number is 303-492-8855.
• CU Housing and Dining Services will arrange for temporary housing and meal plans in the residence halls for displaced students. Â鶹ÒùÔº should call 303-492-8476 or 303-492-8477 to make arrangements.
