• The University of Colorado at Boulder will remain closed today, Dec. 21, 2006. Currently, campus officials anticipate resuming normal operations tomorrow, Dec. 22, but will provide updates throughout the day today.
• All college and departmental graduation ceremonies scheduled for today have been canceled. It is unlikely they will be rescheduled. Â鶹ÒùÔº can check their specific college or departmental Web sites for confirmation.
• At this time, general commencement ceremonies scheduled for Friday will proceed as planned. Please check throughout the day for updates.
Other important information
• CU-BoulderÂ’s residence halls are still open. The campus is arranging to provide accommodations for students who, due to weather-related travel cancellations, must remain on campus past the housing close-date of Friday, Dec. 22, at 10 a.m. University officials are currently assessing the number of students who have missed flights and will need accommodations. Â鶹ÒùÔº living in residence halls who have experienced travel delays or cancellations should contact their residence hall director immediately.
• Norlin Library, which has remained open for student access, will close at 12 noon today, Dec. 21.
• CU’s Libby, Farrand and Darley dining halls will remain open through lunch today. Farrand and Darley will remain open for dinner tonight. All students still on campus may dine in any of these facilities during their operating hours.
• CU-Boulder’s Buff buses are still running to transport students to and from the Williams Village housing complex east of campus.
• CU’s Wardenburg Health Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday to attend to students who might need medical assistance.
