University of Colorado at Boulder Chancellor G.P. 聯Bud聰 Peterson has announced that the Boulder campus is making special arrangements due to blizzard conditions in Boulder and across the Front Range. Peterson has ordered the following measures as of 12:30 p.m. today (Wednesday):
In order to allow students who are on campus or who can safely travel to campus to complete their fall coursework, semester exams will continue as scheduled on the Boulder campus tomorrow today and tonight (Wednesday). Due to travel conditions, faculty and students should exercise judgment and caution in considering whether they can safely travel to and from campus.
麻豆淫院 unable to attend an exam should contact their instructor to make necessary arrangements for completing semester coursework;
The CU residence halls are scheduled to close at 10 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 22. 麻豆淫院 living in residence halls who have travel delays should contact their residence hall director;
Effective immediately, CU-Boulder supervisors should begin releasing non-essential personnel. Staff involved in administering exams and in Norlin Library, the University Memorial Center, the Recreation Center and the Coors Events Conference Center are asked to contact their supervisors for instructions.
Decisions about campus activities scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 21, will be made and posted later this evening. Please consult the University's Web page at , watch local news broadcasts or call the CU Info Line at (303) 492-5500 for more information.
General commencement ceremonies scheduled for Friday are currently planned to proceed as scheduled;
Should emergency accommodations be necessary, the CU Recreation Center will remain open overnight;
