The Colorado Shakespeare Festival, CU-Boulder's premier summer theatrical program, has announced it will be a sponsor for CU Program Council spring events including the 2001 Trivia Bowl.
The Colorado Shakespeare Festival logo will appear on all Program Council ads and promotions, as well as at the 2001 Trivia Odyssey April 2-6.
Program Council events to be sponsored by the Shakespeare Festival will include the 2001 CU Trivia Bowl, a concert by Jimmy's Chicken Shack on April 5, Vertical Horizon on April 17 and the Dave Matthews Band concert on July 11. The Shakespeare Festival also sponsored comedienne Caroline Rhea earlier in March. Sponsorship opportunities ended on March 19.
Five levels of sponsorship were available to interested parties including the Basic and Principal Level Sponsors, Donors of prizes or gifts, Naming Opportunity Sponsors and Grand Prize Sponsors for cash grants.
Program Council has signed sponsorship agreements with several campus and off-campus organizations besides the Colorado Shakespeare Festival including The Onion, Subway, the Guitar Center, Boulder Toyota, the CU athletic department, CU Parents Association and the CU Alumni Association. Boulder Toyota will sponsor game breaks at 7:15 p.m. April 2-3 and at 5 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. April 5-6.
Donors include Blockbuster Videos, the Juice Stop, Celestial Seasonings and the CU Bookstore.
