The car show will feature all types of street and race cars -- exotic and classic, foreign and domestic. Awards will be given at the end of the show. The event also will include a silent auction, food and T-shirt sales.
Proceeds will benefit the project race car of the CU chapter of the Society of Automotive Engineers, which will be on display at the show. The event is co-sponsored by the CU department of mechanical engineering and Checker Auto Parts.
Entry is free for spectators. Early registration for cars is $12 (before Sept. 18); late registration is $15. CU students may enter cars at no charge. Car check-in will be from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., Sept. 24. For more information, call (303) 473-9272 or go to .
