Four finalists for the position of vice chancellor for student affairs at the University of Colorado at Boulder will begin campus visits April 16.
Members of the campus community are encouraged to attend the candidatesÂ’ open forums and offer feedback to the search committee, chaired by Allen, associate chair and associate professor of the communication department.
"We were fortunate to receive applications from numerous professionals who have demonstrated their commitment to student services," said Allen.
"The search committee worked diligently to select an outstanding group of finalists whom weÂ’re excited to interview. We welcome members of the university community to attend the open sessions with the candidates."
The finalists, their current positions, dates of campus visits and open forum schedules are:

The vice chancellor for student affairs position has been held on an interim basis by Stump since the departure last May of Jean Kim, who served as vice chancellor from July 1995 to May 1999.
Responsibilities include the development, implementation and oversight of programs and services intended to support the intellectual and personal development of students and to build a sense of community on the campus.
The division of student affairs co-manages several departments with the University of Colorado Student Union (UCSU), including recreation services, Wardenburg Health Center, the University Memorial Center, Women's Resource Center, victim assistance and the student organizations finance office.
