Investment banking -- a growing strength of the Denver business community -- will be the focus of the CU-Boulder College of Business Investment Banking Forum, sponsored by Lehman Brothers, Inc., on Tuesday, Nov. 2.
Keynote speaker Robert Kiernan, managing director of Lehman Brothers, Inc., will address "Bridging the Gap between Theory and Practice: Anatomy of a Deal" from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the College of Business room 224.
Panel discussions from 10:45-12:45 p.m., also in room 224, will feature local investment professionals.
"This forum addresses the critical realm of investment banking and gives students access to dynamic industry professionals," said Professor Sanjai Bhagat. "With Denver's increasing strength in this field, and the CU-Boulder business schoolÂ’s growing success in placing students in attractive investment banking positions, it is particularly appropriate that we host this kind of event."
Panelists include Michael Franson, partner, The Wallach Co. Inc.; Milton Hahn, principal, Highcrest Partners; Warren Henson, principal, Green Manning & Bunch; Robert Kiernan, managing director, Lehman Brothers Inc.; Jason Muñoz, associate, Hanifen Imhoff; Joseph Radecki, principal, George K.
