The Sewall Residential Academic Program at the University of Colorado at Boulder will host a lecture titled "Racial and Ethnic Coalitions in the 21st Century" on Monday, March 1.
The lecture is free and open to the public and will be in Old Main Chapel at 7:30 p.m.
Jennifer Hochschild, a professor of politics and public affairs at Princeton University, will give the lecture. Hochschild is the author of several books and articles on civil liberties and public and social policy. The Gustavus Myers Center for the Study of Human Rights named her book, "Facing Up to the American Dream" as the outstanding book on the subject of human rights in North America for 1996.
Hochschild holds a bachelor's degree from Oberlin College and a Ph.D. from Yale University.
