Loriliai Biernacki presents paper at International Society for Contemplative Studies
Dr. Loriliai Biernacki gave a paper for the Keynote Interdisciplinary Panel for the International Society for Contemplative Studies held February 1-5. Her paper “First-Person Ontologies” addressed using models of ontological subjectivity as a way of parsing out a contemporary neuroscience model of consciousness and the brain. Following this, she also gave a paper on medieval Indian images of the body and the subtle body, “Tantric Bodies and AI immortality” at Chapman University on February 8.
