Timur Yuskaev (M.A. 1998) appointed Assistant Professor of Contemporary Islam at Hartford Seminary
Religious Studies alumnus Timur Yuskaev (M.A. 1998) has been appointed to a tenure track position at Hartford Seminary as Assistant Professor of Contemporary Islam and Director of the Islamic Chaplaincy Program.
A native of St. Petersburg, Russia and of Tatar Muslim descent, Timur recently completed his doctoral studies at UNC Chapel Hill. In October, he will participate in the 100th anniversary of the publication of The Muslim World, a journal edited by Hartford Seminary faculty with subscribers in 65 counrtries.
Timur Yuskaev studied Islam at CU Boulder under Professor Emeritus Fred Denny.
