Religious Studies Graduate, Aaron Proffitt, Accepts Position at University of Albany (SUNY)
On February 18th, Aaron Proffitt, Religious Studies MA graduate 2008, successfully defended his dissertation at the University of Michigan for a Ph.D. in Buddhist Studies. Shortly thereafter, he traveled to Albany, NY to interview for a position as Assistant Professor of Japanese Religion at SUNY Albany. We're pleased to announce that he will be starting there in the Fall of 2015. Congratulations, Aaron!Â
