NREL Deputy Director to headline Frontiers in Energy Research Blitz on March 18

The upcoming , which is still accepting registrations for attendees and presenters, will facilitate opportunities for collaboration by cultivating connections across units that engage in energy research or policy.

The blitz will be headlined by Dr. Peter Green, NREL’s Deputy Laboratory Director for Science and Technology. Dr. Green will kick off the event and share insights into the federal funding landscape for energy research.

The event is being jointly hosted by the Research & Innovation Office (RIO) and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Institute (RASEI).

Call for Faculty Presenters

RIO is seeking approximately 25 participants to present their energy-related research in three-minute, lightning-round sessions. 

Topic areas include: 

  • Bioenergy & Biofuels
  • The Built Environment & Energy Systems
  • Energy Policy, Economics and Societal Implications
  • Photovoltaics, Solar Energy
  • Wind Energy
  • Other topics

Those interested in presenting should indicate so on the RSVP form. Selected presenters will be notified via email by Friday, March 13.
