Timely Warning: Sex assault in Norlin Library
Shortly after 12 p.m. today, June 1, 2017, a male transient digitally penetrated a female employee on the third level of the Norlin Library. The suspect ran away after the incident. The suspect and victim knew one another. The employee met the suspect within the past week and exchanged contact information with him. The employee was not expecting the suspect to stop by the library today.
The suspect has been identified as Lamin Njie, a 23-year-old black male who is 6-foot-1, 165 pounds. Njie has a criminal history of identity theft, trespassing, forgery and resisting arrest. The suspect was wearing a dark red long-sleeve shirt, blue baseball hat, black and white tennis shoes and a backpack of an unknown color.
The CU Boulder Police Department is looking for Njie. Anyone with information about this crime or Njie’s whereabouts is asked to call CUPD Dispatch at 303-492-6666.
