Historical leaders such as The Wright Brothers, Abraham Lincoln, Sandra Day O'Connor, Cyrus the Great, Frederick Douglass, and Niccolò Machiavelli will be examined alongside modern leaders like Mark Zuckerberg, Elizabeth Holmes, and Elon Musk.
About the Speaker
ShiloÌýBrooks is Faculty Director of CU’s Engineering Leadership Program, which puts STEM into conversation with the liberal arts to cultivate engineering and technology leaders of curiosity and character. A political theorist by training, he writes widely on leadership, science, and culture. He holds appointments in the Lockheed Martin Engineering Management Program and the Herbst Program for Engineering, Ethics, and Society, and has been a fellow at Princeton University and the University of Virginia. He is the Benson Center's Associate Faculty Director.Ìý
