Dec 6: Navigating the next Trump administration as an international student (virtual presentation)
We understand that the transition in U.S. presidential administration and Congress on January 20, 2025 may be causing some uncertainty for international students and scholars, and we want to assure you that we are here to support you. A panel of attorneys will be hosting a webinar to provide an overview of potential changes to the U.S. immigration environment. They will offer advice on finding reliable information and discuss steps you can take to prepare for possibilities in the new presidential term.
While it’s possible that changes to U.S. immigration laws and policies may occur, International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) will not have details about any changes until they are formally announced. Should any new policies affect international students or scholars, ISSS will share that information with you as soon as it is available. It’s important to keep in mind that understanding and communicating updates may take time, so we appreciate your patience as we navigate these developments together.
Above all, we want to emphasize that you are a valued and integral part of our CU Boulder community. If you’re feeling uncertain, stressed, or overwhelmed—whether due to these changes or any other challenges—please know that ISSS is here to support you. Your well-being is a priority, and we encourage you to take advantage of the many resources available on campus.
