2019 Research & Innovation Seed Grant Program Accepting Proposal

The Research & Innovation Seed Grant program—designed to stimulate new areas of research and creative work on the University of Colorado Boulder campus—is accepting proposals through Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019.

This grant support projects that take investigators in creative, and sometimes high-risk, high-reward directions including team development proposals for future large collaborative research projects. Proposed projects may take a variety of forms and will represent an investment in the future research, scholarly, or creative vitality of the university. Faculty from across disciplines will be judged in categories designed to allow all disciplines an opportunity to compete successfully.

In 2018, EVEN Professor Sherri Cook was one of the 16 recipient of the Seed Grand Program for her project "Resilient and Sustainable Sanitation Systems: Characteristics, Links, and Barriers".

In addition the Research & Innovation Office (RIO) is hosting a workshop on Nov. 29 to help submitters strengthen proposals in advance of the January submission deadline.
