  • Cassandra Gonzalez received a Graduate Research Fellowship Award to support her dissertation project,ÌýRemnants of Chattel: Black Women, Sex Trafficking, and the Criminal Justice System
  • DeanneÌýGrant received a Graduate Research Fellowship Award to support the completion of her dissertation over the summer, titled, Indigenous Women at the Heart: Decolonial Feminisms to Imagine Sexual Realities.
  • Lau Malaver received the Best Graduate Student PaperÌýAward for her work: "A Critical Theory of Decolonization Through Recovecos:ÌýFrom the Perspective of the Colonized, Towards the Liberation of All"
  • Alejandra PortillosÌýreceived Honorable Mention for the Best Graduate Student PaperÌýfor her paper, "Breaking the ICE: Understanding Latinx Experiences with Immigration Detention andÌýDeportation."
