Prior to joining CU Boulder, Deb worked as an administrative professional and supervisor in private law firms, telecommunications companies and higher education on the East Coast, where her experience in human resources began. Deb moved to Colorado in 2015 from Virginia and was previously at Colorado Law School for three years, supporting the dean and associate deans in faculty affairs, before joining the College of Engineering and Applied Science in August 2019. Deb is a strong advocate for lifelong education in all its forms, coming from a working class family. She moved to Colorado 4 years ago, and loves it much more than anywhere she has lived before on the East Coast of the US. Deb's personal interests are gardening, birdwatching, sewing/knitting, practicing French & Spanish, wine tasting & traveling.Â

Serving as co-Chair on the CU Boulder Staff Council this year and being a part of the University of Colorado Staff Council has been my favorite experience so far.
