Two students earn prestigious Department of Defense fellowships

Two PhD students from the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering have earned prestigious Ìý(NDSEG) Fellowships from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Paige Danielson is a researcher in Distinguished Professor Zoya Popovic’s , and Eric Rappeport works with Professor Won Park in his Nanophotonics Lab.

NDSEG provides three-year fellowships to up to 500 promising young U.S. scientists and engineers each year. The program is designed to promote education in disciplines relevant to the Department of Defense mission.
