Master storyteller Susan Marie Frontczak,Ìýplaying the part of MaryÌýShelley, tells how the famous and familiar story of Dr.ÌýFrankenstein's creature is related toÌýethical issues that ariseÌýwhen scientific pursuits introduce unexpected results. Frontczak parallels the story of Frankenstein with "Beauty and the Beast" - a story that many children know very well and invites listeners to understand, through empathy and compassion, the plight of Frankenstein's creature.Ìý The show, geared for a young audience grades 3 - 12, will invite audience participation in discussionÌýof how and why it is important forÌýscience and humanity to coexist.
