Puksta Scholars Program Now Accepting 2016-17 Applications

Interested in a Scholarship to Help Change the World?

The , an exemplary undergraduate civic engagement program, is accepting for 2016-2017 new scholars (due March 1, 2016).

This program provides a $4500 scholarship for students to develop projects that bring about positive change within our campus and communities. Puksta Scholars are supported in this work by advisers and by regularly meeting as an inclusive community for reflection, workshops, and technical assistance. Projects have included working with Engineers without Borders to develop a water collection system for a village in Nepal, creating videos to help the Veterans Helping Veterans raise funds, developing strategies to close the digital divide in Lafayette, and organizing a Women in Leadership Conference.

The Puksta Scholars is one of the CU Boulder’s “Special Enhancement Opportunities Programs.” CU Boulder is one of five universities in the state that has a Puksta Scholars Program. Please note that this scholarship is only available for students who will be freshmen, sophomores or juniors in academic year 2016-17. It is not available for incoming seniors (exceptions can be made for transfer students).
