The Forever Buffs Network is a free online community where CU Boulder alumni can grow their careers and professional networks, support fellow Buffs and reconnect with classmates. With access to job postings, networking opportunities and campus news, the platform encourages connections among the global CU community.
Driven by Christina Fang, program manager for the Alumni Association鈥檚 online engagement and events, CU Boulder鈥檚 innovative use of Graduway during the 2022 Homecoming season provided a significant boost to community engagement and helped to expand the Forever Buffs Network.听
鈥淭his is wonderful news!鈥� said Ryan Chreist, an assistant vice chancellor for CU Boulder Advancement and executive director of the Alumni Association. 鈥淐hristina鈥檚 work with Graduway has transformed how we build connections and create valuable experiences for alumni around Homecoming, an event that means so much to the university and our constituents.鈥�
Fang and team members Julann Andresen and Brennan Jones leveraged the Graduaway platform to engage alumni, parents, donors, students and fans of CU Boulder. In announcing the award, Gravyty cited the Alumni Association's numerous platform innovations 鈥� including the Forever Buffs Network Mentorship Program, Ambassador Program and monthly giveaways 鈥� as well as high engagement numbers as elements that made CU stand out. Within the first year, 10,000 people signed up for the platform, and, when surveyed, 88.8% of Forever Buffs Network Ambassadors said they would recommend the program to others.听
