Short and Sweet is a collection of provocative poems, twenty years in the making. The verses are from a life overseas – times and places far different from today. Some may seem like foreign objects or outdated antiques. They are certainly not modern or post-modern works and probably belong more in nineteenth century New England, than our contemporary world. And they explore topics that have interested the author for years, such as flirting, dating, regret, love lost, drinking, travel, snow and animals.
