Musician's Paradise for SaleÂ
During the 1970s and early 1980s, some 150 artists — including the Beach Boys, members of U2 and John Lennon — reveled in the serenity of Caribou Ranch, a destination recording studio north of Nederland, Colo.
At the ranch, Billy Joel penned New York State of Mind and Elton John recorded three albums, including Caribou. In 1985 a fire destroyed the studio. In August 2013 owner James Guercio listed the 1,600-acre ranch for $45 million.
“Music is definitely going to come out of this valley again,” Guercio’s son Will Guercio told the Daily Camera.
