CAS is hiring! Assistant to Directors for Grant Administration
The Center for Asian Studies welcomes applications for the position of Assistant to Directors for Grant Administration. This position is charged with the administration and financial management of grant-funded projects for Teaching East Asia (TEA) and the Center for Asian Studies (CAS). The Assistant will serve as the primary liaison for various HR tasks and responsibilities. The position reports to the Executive Director of the Center for Asian Studies on CAS grants, the Director of the Program for Teaching East Asia on TEA grants, and other project Principal Investigators as required. The Assistant takes a major role in communicating with CU’s Office of Contracts and Grants, Sponsored Project Accounting, International Tax Consultant, Procurement Service Center, CU Risk Management, CU Foundation, and various funders, thus ensuring grant compliance. Additionally, this position works with Principal Investigators to oversee monthly reconciliation of grant expenditures and annual budgets on existing grants and to budget new proposals.
