CAS/TEA is Now Recruiting an Assistant to the Directors for Grant Administration!
CAS, in conjunction with the Program for Teaching East Asia (TEA) is pleased to announce the opening of a position for an Assistant to the Directors for Grants Administration.
The Assistant to the Directors for Grants Administration is a part-time 12-month University Staff, at will position, ranging from 50 to 65% FTE, dependent on funding. The position is partially grant funded through the Center for Asian Studies (CAS) and its Program for Teaching East Asia (TEA).
This position is charged with administration and financial management of grant-funded projects for TEA and CAS. The position reports to the Executive Director of the Center for Asian Studies on CAS grants, the Director of the Program for Teaching East Asia on TEA grants, and other project PIs as required. The Assistant takes a major role in communicating with CU’s Office of Contracts and Grants, Sponsored Project Accounting, International Tax Consultant, Procurement Service Center, CU Risk Management, CU Foundation and various funders; thus ensuring grant compliance. Additionally, this position works with Principal Investigators to oversee monthly reconciliation of grant expenditures and annual budgets on existing grants and to budget new proposals.
