CAS Event: CHINA Town Hall
Please join us Monday, October 29 at 5:30 PM at the Center for Community's 3rd floor Abram Lounge for an exciting event:
"CHINA Town Hall,” a national day of China-related programming, is designed to provide Americans with an opportunity to discuss issues related to U.S.-China relations with leading experts in the field. This year’s program will open with a webcast from Beijing featuring Gary Locke, U.S. ambassador to China, discussing U.S.-China relations.
This will be followed by a local talk by Dr. Lyle J. Goldstein, an associate professor in the China Maritime Studies Institute at the U.S. Naval War College, titled "Storm Clouds Gathering over the Pacific: China & U.S. National Security in the 21st Century."
Fees for attendance will be collected at the door; $10 for general public, waived with a student ID. The event will open with light refreshments at 5:30 and close with a dessert reception.
Sponsored by the Center for Asian Studies and the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations. For further information, please see our event flyer.
