The 2020 AGU Fall Meeting, held December 1–17, 2020, was the first-ever fully virtual Fall Meeting. During the three-week event, over 20,000 people attended live and on-demand sessions. Researchers from CADSWES presented at three of them.
On Tuesday, December 15, 2020, two PhD candidates from CADSWES delivered live presentations on their research.
- David Woodson presented “Multi-Year Forecast of Colorado River Flows Using a Bayesian Dynamic Linear Model” during the “Science and Art of Hydroclimatic Forecasting for Water Resources Decision Making” session.
- Nathan Bonham presented “Robust Robustness: A Sensitivity Analysis of MORDM with Competing Assumptions about Future States of the World” during the “Water Resources Management and Policy in a Changing World” session. This session was convened by Joe Kasprzyk of CU Boulder. .
On Wednesday, December 9, David Woodson, Edie Zagona, and Balaji Rajagopalan of CADSWES and CU Boulder joined with collaborators from the Bureau of Reclamation and NCAR in a virtual poster session, “Midterm Projections of Colorado River Streamflow and Water Resources Operations Conditioned on Temperature Projections.” .
