Josh Knowles is a software engineer and interactive artist working in Austin and听New York City. He graduated with a master鈥檚 degree from New York University鈥檚听prestigious Interactive Telecommunications Program in the Tisch School of the听Arts in听2007 and has since worked on launching a variety of tech start-ups, including the diabetes self-care company, One Drop. He has also worked on numerous听creative physical space installation projects for clients, including New Era, Jessica听Simpson,听iHeartMedia听and HBO鈥檚 Game of Thrones. He鈥檚 also built gaming and听interactive experiences for clients, including OK Go, MTV, the Field Museum of听Chicago听and for Deepak Chopra鈥檚 game, 鈥淟eela.鈥� He has given talks on music,听interactive art,听gaming听and software design at events including, SXSW, PICNIC,听Come Out and Play, MobileMusicWorkshop听and the New Interfaces for Musical听Expression conference. For many years he taught classes as an adjunct professor at听NYU and New听York鈥檚 School of Visual Arts.
