Degree Planning with Scholarships in Mind
Although CU Boulder awards a lot of scholarships when you are first admitted, there are still many more scholarship opportunities available to you in your sophomore, juniorÌýand senior years.
Here are some tips to make sure you know what’s out there:
Fill out and submit theÌýFree Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)Ìýeach year! This is needed to qualify for need-based scholarship awards.
Fill out and submit theÌýCU Boulder Scholarship ApplicationÌýeach year! This is a streamlined application you can use to apply for multiple scholarships at CU Boulder, including scholarships in your department that depend on your choice of major. After submitting the general application, you may be prompted to complete supplemental questions for additional scholarship opportunities.

Contact your department to explore scholarship opportunities in your major that may not be on the CU Boulder Scholarship Application. Not all departments have their scholarships listed on the scholarship application, so be sure to contact your department to explore their opportunities.
